Ted Skokos

Theodore “Ted” C. Skokos, a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, is an attorney and entrepreneur.  After a lengthy legal career first as a prosecutor and then as a civil attorney, Ted focused his energy on the businesses world.  He founded multiple companies in various industries, including most prominently the wireless communications industry and the medical device industry.
In order to give back, Skokos and his wife Shannon founded The Ted and Shannon Skokos Foundation, which awards grants to public charities that make a positive impact on society by, among other things, advancing education, the arts, science and religion. Skokos serves on the boards of The Ted and Shannon Skokos Foundation, ATS Medical Inc., Dallas Center for the Performing Arts President’s Advisory Board, Dallas Opera, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Brinker International Forum Advisory Board, Southwestern Medical Foundation Board of Trustees and Denison Ministries.  Ted proudly served in the U.S. Army during all three missions of the Gulf War, i.e., Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Provide Comfort.
Skokos is also a racecar driver in the North American circuit of the Ferrari Challenge Racing Series.  He received both his Bachelor of Science degree and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas.
