Dan S. Petty

Dan S. Petty is President/CEO of the North Texas Commission, a non-profit consortium of businesses, cities, counties, chambers of commerce, economic development entities, and higher education institutions in the North Texas region. The Commission is the one and only public-private regional organization committed to enhancing the overall economic vitality and quality of life in the North Texas Region.
A former Assistant City Manager of Dallas, Petty has also served as Director of Public Affairs for the University of Texas System and as Executive Assistant to the Governor of Texas.
Petty and his wife Mary Jane have four children, six grandchildren, belong to the First United Methodist Church, Downtown Dallas, and live in Dallas.
